With that being said, it will increase the conductivity of the system's water. In that case, the blue light indicates that a device is connected to that unit via Bluetooth, the blue light will remain on as long as the device is communicating with the 2-6. Hi Commieslayer, Unfortunately, this is a question you're going to have to reach out to Kenmore about, as we are not in a position to comment on the specific operation of their products. However, we can tell you that if you are going to clean a stainless steel surface, its best to use an alkaline cleaner rather than the nickel cleaner shown in the video. @@StateIndustrialProducts Thanks for respond, I looked closer and decided to clean all of the hardened slime and it makes sense that it can not be there. I just used home cleaners available at this time but I'll get Ice-maker cleaners because on sides of the slab slide tray, it had solid calcium buildup I had to use sandpaper against due to no budge by any cleaner and de-calcification solution I have. Thanks again.
